The lightweight tinted lotion evens skin tone and imparts a natural looking base without the feel and finish of traditional foundations. It works to subtly correct and unify the complexion with "rainbow" pearl pigments (red, blue, green and gold) which blend and work together to balance tonal variations in the skin.
I've been using Baby Glow in medium for 1 month and find the foundation melds seamlessly into skin and feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. It provides sheer coverage, a personal preference, with a subtly warm dewy finish. As you can see in the picture, it leaves skin with a soft radiant transparency to allow your natural tone to show through the base. Coverage can be built up if required, but the most you'll get is medium. You'll need concealer if you have some heavy duty imperfections. As I've been addicted to the Meteorites Compact (Dore`), I've been setting Baby Glow with the Meteorites powder and found it helps the Glow last all day. Without powder, the product lasts up to mid-afternoon.
Baby Glow does a great job keeping my skin hydrated and fresh, while the colour works with my skin tone (NC40) and doesn't change colour throughout the day. When other makeup is layered over it, the Glow pigments don't alter the color of blush or bronzer (bonus!). Though the foundation is lightly scented, it' pleasant and disspates soon after the product is rubbed in. |
The lightweight lotion foundation is suitable for the warmer and humid months, and as a substitute to alphabet creams and tinted moisturisers. Because of it's sheer and hydrating consistency, touching up during the day isn't a problem, especially if you're outdoors and frequently re-applying SPF. I recommend layering Baby Glow over a high SPF serum if you plan on spending time in full sun.
Baby Glow is ideal for anyone seeking light-medium coverage that's breathable with a radiant skin-like finish.
